Recipe for Dinner
2 cooking (tart) apples, chopped 225 g/8 oz/1/2 blackberries 15 ml/1 tbsp lemon juice 15 ml/1 tbsp light brown sugar (optional)
150 g/5 oz/1/2 cup muesli
Simmer the fruit in the lemon juice and a little water until soft. Add the sugar, if using (if you prefer a sharper taste leave it out). Place in a flameproof dish and cover with muesli. Sprinkle a little sugar on top, if liked. Place under a low grill (broiler) for 10 minutes until the muesli is golden.
