COTTON ON After a spell working in interior design in the States, Rosemary Fullerton returned to her native England with a yearning to set up her own business. She hooked up with friend Angela Edwards, and together they formed Cotton On, a shop selling all things cotton. It is housed in a Tudor watde and daub building in a narrow cobbled street in historic Ludlow. Visitors will not be disappointed by the shops interior, either. DINING TABLE FOR 4-6 The 16th-century oven still takes pride of place, and the original uneven oak floorboards are in gleamingly good condition. This is a fitting backdrop against which to display Rosemary and Angelas soft furnishings, which ooze quality and charm. Youll find everything for the kitchen, dining room and bedroom – all are in 100% cotton and have a distinctly French feel. There are vibrant daisy and check tablecloths (from £18-95), pretty embroidered duvet covers (from £23) and tie-top fleur-de-lis voile curtain panels (from £21), plus accessories such as jute tie-backs and tassels (from £8-50), etched glass hurricane lamps (£24-95) and a myriad pieces of colourful glassware. Cotton On will also make up items to order in any fabric sold by the metre.
